Ganesha Atharvashirsha Deeksha
The Vedic Root of the Remover of Obstacles
CAD $151suggested dakshina
What this is
Most people know Ganesha as the sweet-toothed elephant-headed god. Few know him as the Ganapati of the Atharva Veda — the primordial Ganapati who is Brahman itself, the source and dissolution of all existence, the one chanted at the beginning of every sacred undertaking because he is the beginning.
The Ganesha Atharvashirsha is one of the most revered Upanishads dedicated to Ganapati. Its verses do not merely praise him — they identify the seeker with him. This Deeksha transmits that identification.
